Crushed Bob's heart when I traded the race bike for it, but at that time I was done with Bob and done with racing. First of all, at 62 and always coming in last place... I was never going to be a racer. Who was I kidding? It was just too scary. Then when I tore my ACL, it was as they say 'a season-ending injury, and I was actually glad it happened.
