The story is long but I'll just cut to the chase. I had two Triumph 955 motorcycles. One that I loved but it broke down and I eventually bought a 2nd one and moved its engine, ECU and wiring loom into the one I loved, creating a great bike that has been my daily rider for a few years.

This left me with one and a half great motorcycles. A couple months ago I decided I'd make the half motorcycle whole and I bought a lot of the missing parts. I put it together enough so I could get running but soon the sadness hit once it was obvious the engine was fatally broken (at least economically infeasible to repair). After a couple days walking past that failure in my shop... I got to looking at that bike with no engine and thought "there's the starting point for my next project. I'm going to electrify this bike!" 

I took the engine out of this 2001 Triumph Speed Triple and put it into my 1998 T595 Daytona

When it was all said and done, I ended up with an awesome big triple and a rolling chassis begging to be eletrified!
